Here's an original mid 1973 sales drawing. The earliest plans are dated 1972. As the plans progressed, the length overall grew from 40 feet to 41 feet 6 1/2 inches. Note that it is 41 feet here. I wonder if the carpenters added that last 6 1/2 inches by eye when fairing the Southern Cross hull??
